Irony

I love Irony. It is by far my one of my favourite literary and creative devices. I get such a rush finding them in film – still and movies. Imagine the thought process of the creators when they decide to put such an analogy in!

So, taking that and my delightful hobby of 2017 I present to you an Ironic representation of Week 3’s theme Land – Venice, where the cabs are boats and houses are built on water!

Photograph Reference: This is a really old picture. It was the year I was given my first digi-cam, also my first international trip to Italy. Venice truly took our breath away. A whole city on water. The spacious  Piazza San Marco, beautiful Basilica and the fact that you can get around the city through connecting bridges. If I’m not mistaken, there are about 400 bridges connecting the 117 little islands. No, I didn’t get to see every one of them – obviously. We did get to go on a Gondola and attend the Murders & Mysteries Tour  ( in the middle of the night, amongst the ghosts of venice – we were told!)
